The VORTEX Portal 'Live View' feature provides you with real-time access to all connected cameras. Simply click on the designated Groups, and you'll be presented with the live footage from your cameras.
Each individual view cell offers a range of controls, allowing you to:
- Playback footage
- Wind back or forward through video timelines
- Capture a snapshot of the current view
- Trace back to previous VCA (Video Content Analysis) events, and more.
Every single view cell will have its own controls:
- Video/Audio Properties: Displays the characteristics of the video and audio feedback transmitted by the camera.
- Full/Single Cell View: This feature lets you toggle between a comprehensive full view and an individual single view.
- Snapshot Button: Enables you to capture a still image from the video and save it.
- Live or Playback Status: Indicates the nature of the video being viewed. If marked as "Live," it signifies real-time footage streaming from the camera. If labeled "Playback," you're watching a recorded video segment.
- Calendar: Displays the current date and time of the live footage.
-
Previous Event: Enables swift navigation to the most recent event detected by the camera.
- Playback Controls: Facilitate video playback management. Functions include play, stop, and the ability to jump forward or backward by 10 seconds.
- Volume Control: Provides the capability to adjust the audio feedback volume.
- Recording Timeline: Offers a visual representation of the device's recording status.
Should an important event occur, the 'Archive' feature comes in handy. With a simple click, you can save a specific duration of video directly to the cloud archive.
The duration or length of the video you want to save is fully configurable to suit your needs.
Once you have selected the video range you want to 'Archive', click on the 'Save' button to store the data in your cloud storage.
Lastly, for easy navigation and control of the Live View interface, you'll find a control panel situated at the bottom of the screen.
