What is the camera's default IP address?

Answer

VIVOTEK cameras does not have a default IP address. Instead, the device will get its IP from a DHCP server once its connected to a network, if available. If there is no DHCP server on the network, the camera wont set any IP. In this case, if you want to find the camera you will need to access through its Alias IP or hardware IP (169.254.X.X) which is assigned to the device using APIPA.

Once you have accessed the camera using the "Alias IP" you can manually configure a fixed IP to the device in order to be accessed inside your network.
