There are three main methods that can be used to find the VAST Security Station version is installed in the software:
1. VSS UI login interface:
The first place you can check the VSS version installed on your computer is on the login interface, in the right bottom corner. The displayed version will also indicate the architecture in use (e.g., 64-bits).
2. VSS About page:
You can also find the software version by accessing the "About" page in the VSS settings. To do this, run the VSS software and click on the gear icon. A drop-down menu will appear, and one of the options will be labeled as "About".
Once you click on it, a pop-up window will appear displaying the VSS version installed on your system.
This will include the Client, Server and Device pack version information.
3. VSS Installation file:
The last place you can find the VSS version installed on your PC is in the installation folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\VIVOTEK Inc\VAST. Here, you will find a file named "Install_log".
Within this file, you will be able to see the history of all versions that have been installed on the server.
