Yes, VIVOTEK's VAST Security Station can be installed in virtual machines. However, at the moment, we only support installation on VMWare and Hyper-V environments. Below are the details:

Supported Virtual Machine Platforms

• VMWare: VAST Security Station can be installed on all VMWare Workstation environments.
• Hyper-V: VAST Security Station is compatible with Microsoft Hyper-V, available on Windows Server and Windows 10 Pro editions.
