Why does the camera ask to set a password after upgrading?
ANSWER
In order to enhance security, VIVOTEK have implemented many security protocols and functions into the camera. One of them is the requirement of username and password settings to avoid unwanted intrusion from non-authorized users to the camera.
These changes have been applied in the following cameras firmware version:
