How to configure user account’s authority when viewing/configuring cameras behind a sub-station by using LiveClient?
Note: this function is not available in VAST2 so if you require to use it you must use LiveClient instead.

Answer
For example, there are CMS station and sub-station NVR B with 3 cameras each. We want to achieve:
● User A can view/configure camera 1&2 in CMS station and camera 3 in NVR B.
● User B can view/configure camera 3 in CMS station and camera 1&2 in NVR B.
a. Open LiveClient and login with admin account.
b. Go to “Configuration -> Logical Tree View Management“.
1. Check the cameras in device list.
2. Add to the logical tree list.
c. Go to “Configuration -> User Management”.
1. Create a user account.
2. Choose logical tree.
3. Configure camera’s access authority for the user.
d. Login to the “Test account”, check if the result is right.
● User A can view/configure camera 1&2 in CMS station and camera 3 in NVR B.
● User B can view/configure camera 3 in CMS station and camera 1&2 in NVR B.
