VORTEX displays a banner starting 30 days before any camera license expiration.
Additionally, an exclamation mark () will appear on the License Information page in the User Portal to highlight licenses that require attention . The License Information page provides a clear overview of all licenses within your organization — showing their types, quantities, and statues .
You can click the number under each license type to view more details.
A pop-up window will appear showing the devices assigned to that license. The cameras that require attention will be marked with an exclamation mark. please reach out to your reseller for license renewal of those cameras.
Click "Contact reseller" to view your reseller information. If your organization does not yet have a reseller assigned, we recommend adding one to help resolve license issues. You can also click “Contact reseller”, which will guide you to submit your information, and VIVOTEK will help connect you with the appropriate partner.
When a camera license expires, the banner turns red and remains visible — it cannot be dismissed.
On the License Information page, an issue label() will appear next to the corresponding license to draw your attention.
You can click the issue labels to view more detail.
Please contact your reseller to renew or activate licenses for expired or unlicensed cameras.
