QUESTION
When trying to install ST7501/VAST, the alert below appears.


ANSWER
- Uninstall ST7501/VAST: Go to Start\VIVOTEK Inc\ST7501 or \VIVOTEK Inc\VAST and click "Uninstall".
- If uninstalling ST7501/VAST does not resolve the issue, please following instructions below to remove the registry key
Step1: Check in Windows Task Manager whether or not there is an ST7501/VAST process running; please end the process if it is running.

Step2: Check whether or not the ST7501/VAST folder has been removed. (C:\Program files (x86)\Vivotek Inc\ST7501 or C:\Program files (x86)\Vivotek Inc\VAST)
Step3: Launch the Registry Editor. (Click on Start > Run, type "Regedit", and press the "Enter" key)
Step4: Execute the file *.reg(Unzip DeleteRegForST7501_VAST.zip) based on OS information and software you install.
Step2: Check whether or not the ST7501/VAST folder has been removed. (C:\Program files (x86)\Vivotek Inc\ST7501 or C:\Program files (x86)\Vivotek Inc\VAST)
Step3: Launch the Registry Editor. (Click on Start > Run, type "Regedit", and press the "Enter" key)
Step4: Execute the file *.reg(Unzip DeleteRegForST7501_VAST.zip) based on OS information and software you install.
Or you could manually delete the registry key of ST7501 or VAST folder.

Note: If your OS is 64-bit, the location of the folder's registry key should be:
(\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\VIVOTEK, Inc.\ST7501) or
(\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\VIVOTEK, Inc.\VAST)

(\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\VIVOTEK, Inc.\ST7501) or
(\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\VIVOTEK, Inc.\VAST)
Step 5: Restart this computer.
Step 6: Try installing ST7501/VAST again.
