How to quickly collect Windows OS and Graphics Card information when reporting a VSS issue?

To collect information about the Windows Operating System and the display (graphics) card on a Windows computer, you can use several methods. Here are some common approaches:

System Information Tool

Press Win + R to open the Run dialog. Then type msinfo32 and press Enter.

This opens the System Information tool. In the System Information window, you'll find:

• OS Information: Under 'System Summary', you can see details about the Windows OS, such as OS Name, Version, System Type, etc.
  
• Display Card Information: Expand the "Components" section, then click on "Display" to see information about the graphics card, including the name, manufacturer, and driver version.
  

DirectX Diagnostic Tool

1. Press Win + R, type dxdiag, and press Enter.

In the DirectX Diagnostic Tool, check the following tabs:

• System Tab: Provides detailed information about the Windows OS.
  
• Display Tab: Offers details about the display card, including drivers and current settings.
